About Us Meet The Team

Reed was born and raised in Burley, Idaho. He attended Ricks College and BYU for a short time before returning to farm with his father and brother in 1981. In the late 80’s and early nineties, he began understanding the value of whey and whey products.  Reed then began marketing whey products to area dairies. In 1999 he built a 1200 sow farm to utilize the whey products and market swine to the roaster hog market in California. Eventually the farm grew to a 4200-sow farm.

Other opportunities later arose to manage various waste streams for different processing facilities. Currently Gibby Group manages the co-products for many food companies throughout the United States.

Reed married Andrea Sagers in 1984. Together, they have raised five children. Reed loves spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is very appreciative to the community and all who have helped Gibby Group in so many ways.

Professional Experience:

Monte joined Gibby Group in October of 2007 working in the office in AP’s and AR’s along with a list of many other office responsibilities. He joined the company in its early stages of expansion and has had an opportunity to grow within the company and play a key role in the support of its growth through the years. He enjoys being part of the team that helps make Gibby Group the company it is today.

Education:

BS degree from Boise State University in accounting.

Monte after work:

Monte loves to spend time with his wife (Dolly) and their kids and grandkids. He loves to travel as time permits. He also enjoys playing golf, taking walks and other outdoor activities.

Professional experience:

Beau joined the Gibby Group Team in 2018. His background is in accounting and operations. Beau has worked with clients in many different industries and has experienced a wide range of unique business models and situations.

Education:

Beau is a graduate from Boise State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has tax, audit, and CFO experience with a wide range of privately held businesses.

Beau after work:

Beau enjoys spending time with his family, supporting them in their various activities. He has three teenage daughters that keep him very busy.

Professional Experience:

Jordan has spent his entire career in the Dairy Industry, doing everything from selling chemical and equipment, to sustainability, animal welfare, and nutrition. Jordan especially enjoys working with “his friends” the dairymen.

Education:

B.S. degrees in Ag Science, Communication, and Leadership from The University of Idaho.

Jordan After Work:

Jordan enjoys cheering on his five children in all of their sports and 4-H activities. He also enjoys working with his small Hereford herd and anything that is cattle related.

Professional Experience:

Kevin has worked for over 25 years in the feed and nutrition industry working with livestock producers specializing in marketing co-products from food manufacturing facilities across the United States. He is an owner of Nature Ridge Organic Dairy and has other business ventures in Idaho as well.

Education:

Bachelors of Business Administration, Marketing, from Idaho State University.

Kevin After Work:

Kevin is the proverbial “workaholic” who really enjoys his work. He works very hard to continually take care of customers’ needs. He loves spending time with his 6 kids, and 2 grandchildren.  He is active in his Church and other community events, and enjoys being in the great outdoors of Idaho whenever possible.

Responsibilities:

Ben oversees the farming operations for the company. He has a vast knowledge of the organic program, manages the feed mill, as well as the beef herd.

Education:

Professional Experience:

Karl joined the Gibby Group team in 2009. He has been involved in the Dairy Industry his entire career. HIs experience began with his own registered dairy herd during high school which he sold in order to attend college. Karl has managed large dairy processing plants and helped with the construction of large milk processing plants. He is currently managing Research and Development for Gibby Group

Education:

Masters Degree in Food Science from the University of Idaho.

Karl after work:

Karl loves spending time with his five children and twenty grandchildren. He especially likes traveling with his wife and family. Karl also enjoys camping, hunting, and fishing. Giving service to others keeps Karl healthy, happy, and wise.

Personal Experience:

Tyson joined Gibby Group LLC as general counsel in 2014. He previously worked in the public sector handling natural resource regulatory and litigation matters and municipal criminal matters.

J.D., University of Idaho. B.S., Agronomy with emphasis in Environmental Science, Brigham Young University

Tyson after work:

Outside of the office, Tyson and his family like to explore all that Idaho has to offer.

Professional Experience:

Tiffanie joined Gibby Group in 2006 when the company was in its beginning stages of growth. She began working in data entry and has been able to expand her responsibilities as the company has grown. Tiffanie is currently the Executive Assistant to both the Chairman of the Board as well as the CEO. She has enjoyed being a part of an innovative team that has allowed her to gain experience in all of the various aspects of the company.

Tiffanie after work:

Tiffanie’s life centers around her children and grandchildren. She also loves all sports. Her hobbies include playing the piano, yardwork, reading, and doing anything that helps keep her active.

Professional Experience:

Andrew Gibby was born and raised in Burley, Idaho. He graduated from Declo High School in 2009. Andrew started as the Human Resource Manager in 2023.

Education:

Andrew graduated from Brigham Young University of Idaho In 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and online marketing.

Andrew after work:

In his spare time, Andrew loves learning about technology and spending time with his family. Andrew is grateful to be a part of a wonderful community. He is always very positive and loves to share his innovative ideas.

Professional Experience:

Trae comes to Gibby Group after having roles managing the accounting and finance functions for multiple privately held companies in the Ag industry.

Trae After Work:

Life revolves around his wife Melissa, and their 5 children (Avery, Jane, Eden, Annie, and Jett). Trae enjoys basketball, golf, and working out. He also enjoys giving service in his church.

Jeff has worked for 15 years holding accounting and finance roles within both public and private companies.

Education:

B.A. Accounting, University of Utah.

Jeff After Work:

Jeff enjoys skiing, biking, home projects, and family life.

Shelly joined the Gibby Group in 2010. She brought with her several years of experience in the Ag and Dairy Industry. She enjoys being involved with customer service and working for a company with strong family values.

Education:

Coursework at Brigham Young University in General Studies.

Shelly after work:

In her spare time, Shelly enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 children, and 5 grandchildren. She also enjoys camping and hiking.

Jacqueline Gibby is the accounting assistant for Gibby Group. She is a 2017 graduate of BYU-Idaho where she majored in Business Management. Jacqueline loves to golf and eat ice cream, but not at the same time.

Professional Experience:

Bron has a wealth of experience in dairy nutrition and feed sales, having worked at J.D. Heiskell and then Progressive Dairy Solutions since 2011. He has been consulting with dairy farmers in Idaho, Utah, and Montana, focusing on efficiency, profitability, and overall management issues.

Education:

Bron completed his Bachelor’s degree in animal science at BYU-Idaho before obtaining a Master’s degree in Dairy Nutrition from the University of Vermont in partnership with Cornell University.

Bron After Work:

Bron is a loving husband and father of four energetic boys. In his free time, he enjoys skiing and mountain biking, taking advantage of the beautiful natural landscape in his area.

Professional Experience:

Lana joined Gibby Group in 2020, initially working part-time at Nature Nursery on the weekends for two years. She has over ten years of experience working at an irrigation district and joined the Nursery full-time in 2022. Lana has since migrated over to Liberty Basin and has been contributing to the company’s success with her expertise.

Education:

Lana gained valuable bookkeeping experience through real-world practice before pursuing formal education. She later enrolled in an educational program to further enhance her skills, which led to many exciting career opportunities.

Lana After Work:

Lana is a dedicated mother and enjoys spending quality time with her children. In her free time, she loves outdoor activities such as kayaking and going on motorcycle rides with her husband. Lana also has a passion for music and enjoys practicing the piano. She also enjoys crocheting, creating, and keeping up with her family and friends. Additionally, she keeps herself physically active by lifting weights with her boys, working out, and spending time on the water. Lana enjoys reading a good book and listening to music from her favorite band, Cheap Trick, while relaxing in a comfortable chair with a cold drink.

Professional Experience:

Travis was born and raised working in the agricultural industry. He gained a passion for this industry and has entered the work force as a feed sales representative. Travis has gained experience in other management roles for additional companies.

Education:

Travis earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Sciences from Utah State University. He is currently pursuing an MBA.

Travis After Work:

Travis enjoys being active and spending time with friends and family. Sports such as basketball and pickleball take up most of his free time. He also enjoys serving in his community and church.

Born and raised in Burley, Idaho, Mike is married to his sweetheart, Debra, and together they have four wonderful children. Mike was raised on a farm and dairy farm in Southeast Idaho and understands the importance of the agriculture and dairy community.

Mike enjoys working with some of the world’s best dairymen in Idaho and Utah. He is part of a great team which ensures the quality of millions of pounds of milk produced each day in Southern Idaho and Utah. Animal welfare has become an essential part of our local dairy farms and Mike maintains an integral position in helping dairies stay compliant and up to date with the quality demands and regulations of food processors. Mike is a great communicator and helps our dairies keep up with all the quality assurance programs that are required to sell quality milk.  He is involved daily with all animal welfare which includes working with FARMS. He conducts FARMS audits and is part of directing the third party Validus Animal Welfare Audits. He works closely with each production plant and their quality teams as he heads up the Gibby Groups Quality Assurance programs. As the Ag industry adapts and progresses, Mike helps Southern Idaho and Utah Dairy Farms achieve their Non-GMO pre-certification and works with farmers on their regenerative agricultural practices to help them reduce their carbon footprint.

Prior to joining the Gibby Group, Mike was the owner and president of Hudson’s Shoes Inc. for 20 years.  He has a long history of marketing and consulting. He also participated in the local area merchants and served on a number of boards in various positions. Mike has years of community service experience and loves to see the growth and change that continues to take place every day in our community.

Professional Experience:

Cameron grew up on a family farm in Eastern Idaho where he learned the value of hard work.  Cameron has worked in Real Estate doing commercial closings and marketing, and also started his own trucking company with a tanker, flatbed, and refrigerated freight divisions. Cameron began working for Gibby Group in 2020 and spends his time building the Carne division.

Education:

B.S. in Rhetorical studies with an emphasis in Organizational Communication.

Cameron after work:

Cameron enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, whitewater rafting, competitive shooting, and gardening.  Cameron and his wife are licensed Foster parents and are involved in various community and church activities. 

Professional Experience:

Todd came on board with Carne Corp in 2013. He schedules deliveries  from several of the Plants in Idaho and Utah as well as maintaining equipment in this region. He has a talent with fabrication as well as a knack for troubleshooting and finding ways to provide solutions for issues that may arise.

Education:

Todd was born and raised just west of Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated High School and met his wife Julie. Together they have four children with the first three being triplets. They moved to Idaho where Todd started raising dairy heifers and later dairy calves. He was involved in that business for 25 years.

Todd After Work:

When Todd is not at work he enjoys working on projects around the house. He is a skilled craftsman and loves using his skills on home improvement projects. 

Professional Experience:

Paul grew up in Northeastern Wisconsin. He has several years of experience working to utilize waste streams in a variety of industries. From working in paper recycling to food production waste, he has used creative problem-solving strategies to reduce wasted resources in the area. Paul began working for Gibby Group in 2022 and strives to help grow the Carne Division.

Education:

B.S. in Waste Management with an emphasis in Soil Science and Business Administration.

Paul After Work:

Paul enjoys spending time with his family and working on his family dairy farm. When he’s not farming, he enjoys coaching and playing hockey. Paul enjoys hunting and has found a love for smoking meats and watching sports.

Professional Experience:

Ben has five years dispatching experience. He holds a Class A CDL and Journeyman HVAC license. Ben also has experience in farming and ranching as well as design and fabrication.

Ben after work:

Ben spends a great deal of time working with the youth in the community as an FTC Robotics Team Build Lead Mentor. He also enjoys cooking and riding motorcycles.

Professional Experience:

Krista joined the team in November 2015, and she enjoys her job and loves to take on new challenges. She has background in Dispatching, Collections, Finance and City Government.

Associate in Business Administration

Krista After Work:

She’s on call 24/7 but finds time to do things away from the work setting.  Krista enjoys the great outdoors, cooking, camping, canning and learning how to repair things on her own with the help of You Tube.  Don’t hold it against her but she is a Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoys watching football with her husband.  Family is very important to her which extends beyond her immediate family and includes her work family.

Professional Experience:

Julie came on board with the Gibby Group in November of 2019. She has a background in teaching, driving (still holds her CDL), customer service, dispatching and now scheduling.

Associate Degree in Accounting

Julie after work:

Work is her salvation! She enjoys visiting with the farmers/feeders, plant managers and dispatchers. When she does push work aside, she enjoys sewing, cooking, crafting and all outside activities. The sparkle in her eye comes from 2 beautiful great-granddaughters, 9 grandchildren and 3 children.

Professional Experience:

Tracy is experienced in over the road dispatching and office management. She joined the team in 2021, and her favorite part of her job is visiting with dairy farmers and haulers.

Tracy after work:

Tracy is 100% horse crazy! She competes with her Equestrian Drill Team, performs at rodeos, and parades, and enjoys barrel racing. Tracy spends much of her time assisting in the care of her family’s Angus Cow Herd.

Professional Experience:

Starr joined the dispatch team in 2022 and has been a great asset. She has ten years of experience working in transportation logics and over 25 years of customer service.

Starr After work:

Starr loves spending time with her family. She especially enjoys time with them in the mountains, camping, snowmobiling, and anything that means being outdoors. Her passion is coaching traveling fast pitch softball and recreation league softball.

Maggie joined Gibby Group as a dispatcher in October of 2022 and has been a great asset to the dispatch team.

Maggie After work:

Maggie has 9 grandchildren who she adores. She also enjoys riding her Harley, riding the Can Am in the mountains, downhill skiing, camping, and sitting around the fire roasting marshmallows and making smores with her grandbabies. Her favorite pastime is spending time with her children and husband.

Professional Experience:

Quinton has several years of experience in the agricultural industry, with a close working relationship with Gibby Group since 2015. He recently joined the dispatch team in 2023, bringing his expertise and knowledge to the team.

Quinton After work:

Outside of work, Quinton is a devoted father who loves to spend quality time with his two daughters. He has a passion for the outdoors, including fishing, shooting, and gardening. Quinton also enjoys raising animals, reflecting his deep connection to the agricultural community.

Meet Pat, the newest member of the team, as of September 2020. She is our office manager. She has 10+ years of bookkeeping experience in various types of businesses. Many years as payroll administrator and office manager in the Dairy industry.

She loves to golf in the summer. Listen to audiobooks and crochet in the winter. Her favorite flower is the Rose of Sharon.

Professional Experience:

Katie began working for Gibby Group in June 2017. She loves to learn new things and expand her knowledge.  She has experience with bookkeeping and customer service.

Katie after work:

Katie is busy raising her 3 children (one set of twins).  She enjoys cooking and baking for family and friends, and loves to be active spending time outdoors with her family.

Becky has been working as a Data Entry Specialist for Gibby Group since 2003. She believes in customer satisfaction, and quality work.

Becky enjoys hunting and camping with her family.

Lachelle joined Gibby Group in April of 2022. This was a big change for her after working in the dental field for over ten years and also spending ten years in retail management. She has been a great asset to the Gibby Group team and is always willing to dig in and develop new skills.

Lachelle After work:

Lachelle is an Idaho native and loves living in her small town of Rupert. She enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and tries to make it a priority to travel the coast each year. She enjoys gardening and loves everything flowers!
